Dryglove rings

So. Brrrrr. Winter is here. So how about nice warm, dry hands? Well here's a start...

Dead simple. Shove the rings down your suit arms so they end up under the seals, pop your hands through. Put on your undergloves (not supplied) then finish off with a pair of rubber gloves (not supplied), held on and sealed with the O ring that sits in the ring groove. Clever, eh? No cutting, no glueing and installs in about 30 seconds. Sorry- latex seals only.

£17.50 plus £4.95 UK P&P

Note- extended delivery on these (expect 6 weeks) due to workshop machining time.

Now the rubber gloves you need are either anything that is unlined or you can even use Marigolds turned inside out- they work surprisingly well. Use the underglove of your choice and if you let the cuff of the underglove sit under your suit seal, the fabric will allow the gloves to equalise. Alternatively use thin bungee to do the same trick or the straws from a can of WD40.

Ok that's not at all clear, is it, how it works? Well here you go... I've used a thin latex glove for contrast here but I wouldn't suggest that you use them as they are too delicate. Quite a few people use a thin underglove, the intermediate rubber glove and a thin summer-weight neoprene glove on top to protect the rubber.

And here's some thing bungee used as an equalising path (actually it's a couple of hair bobbles. Ssssssh don't tell Missus Woz)
